The 2019 Montana Enduro Series is coming at you for another action-packed season of racing! We’re going to be seeing a lot of familiar faces and a bunch of new stages. We’ve been working hard this offseason to expand some things to make your racing experience even better, but we’re still going to keep our bona-fides rocking. You’re still going to get Trailforks routes of the race courses, Pinkbike.com recaps, tons of photos, and, of course, our wireless, full-speed, top-tier SportIDent AirCard+ timing system.
Bike Helena is excited to announce that we will again kick off the Trail Rider Season with Spring Shuttle Fest on May 17-19. The Bike Helena Spring Shuttle Fest will again be in conjunction with the Ales for Trails Brew Fest on May 17th. Enjoy great Montana micro-brews while supporting the Helena trails you will be riding all weekend. Helena can't wait to serve up great trails and great brews.
A suggested donation of $10 will help fund the Trail Rider Program. Donations of cash or check can be made on the Trail Rider.
We are finalizing details for the 2018 Spring ShuttleFest . You can plan on Trail Rider Shuttles starting first thing Friday morning and running through Sunday afternoon.
Inclement weather may result in Trail Rider cancellations or schedule changes. Updates can be found on our Bike Helena Facebook Page.
Here is the shuttle schedule: https://bikehelena.com/shuttle-fest/
Welcome to the best mountain bike ride in Montana: The York 38 Special. The ride consists of three individual rides.
The York 38 Special: 38 miles thru the Big Belt Mountains and the Helena National Forest; gaining 3000 vertical feet from its lowest point in Nelson to Indian Flats.
The Spirit of 76: Twice the loop - twice the fun - 76 miles.
The Lucky 13 Family ride: 13 miles from York to Vigilante Campground and back.
Outstanding partnerships with the USFS, York Fire Rescue, the community of York, our generous sponsors and the volunteers make this mountain bike ride a great experience.
e made some changes in 2017 and will keep the Favorite Gulch/Owl Gulch route to Nelson for the 38 Special. The feedback was great.
About half the riders also biked through Beartrap last year and enjoyed the challenge. The additional climb didn’t faze the experienced mountain bikers. This will remain an option along with the route through Trout Creek Canyon.
We'll see you on Saturday, August 25.
